Dark Night In Luton with guest DJ Uncle Filthy 30.1.2014

Thanks to all of you that supported this event. It certainly was a nice change to let somebody else loose on the decks, and what a great job he did! Even more thanks to all those that travelled down from Stevenage and Bedford to make the night that more special.

Dark Night In Luton 23.1.2014

Regardless of my earlier, and rather pessimistic view of this forthcoming event, the night ended up being reasonably busy and incredibly good fun. A slight change to the requests, with some added Motown, but hey, that's how we swing!

So, with it being the worst week of the year as far as money is concerned, and with only a few people answering their invitation (as seems to be the trend these days) I was only expected a couple of people to support the night, but lady luck obviously was on my side. Let's hope she stays with me! Now all I need to find is the cure for my hangover!

Dark Night In Luton 16.1.2014

Quite an odd night really. But lets face it, after last weekends Death Disco, nothing really was gonna compare. Also didn't help that the small crowd we did have was split between both sides of the pub, and G2 can be a big pub sometimes!

Still, an enjoyable night as always, even if the music also felt a bit out of sorts as well. Regardless, thanks to all that supported. Hope to see more of you next week.

Death Disco @ G2 11.1.2014

After the success of Wardance back in October 2013, I don't think we were really expecting this kind of response to Death Disco. So thanks very much to everybody that supported the second in the series of one-offs by Nick Switch and I.

Even the G2 never expected to see the pub so rammed, and right up until 1am and it was a great surprise to see so many dancing - the enthusiasm shown really helped boost the night’s fun. It’s certainly great to know we can still create such great nights. I'm sure they were a few sore heads the next day!!

I didn't take many pics, and to be honest, they really don’t capture the atmosphere of the night, so if you do happen to have any, please share them whenever possible.

We expect to return for one more night later in the year, but in the meantime, I’ll still be hosting Dark Night In Luton every week at The George 2nd for those that like to exercise their will to be weird!
